Join us in the MAI Gallery for an all-ages, activity-filled afternoon with two artists from The Conditions, pluridisciplinary show presented from November 12 — 16 at MAI!
Maisie O’Brien leads you in shadow theatre play, while Lucy M. May invites you to join in movement explorations using objects and the gallery space itself.
Using a vintage overhead projector, participants will get to create and play with simple materials and found objects to build new collaborative narratives. In a shadow world, we will look at how the choreography of shape, color, sound, and natural elements affects our sensations.
— At the end of the workshop, there will be a draw for a Shadow theatre kit from La fée raille, a local Milton Parc store! —
