2026-2027 CAM-MAI Dance Support Program

The Conseil des arts de Montréal and MAI have joined forces to promote cultural diversity in dance in Montreal and to contribute to the professional development of choreographers from culturally diverse backgrounds.

What types of projects are eligible?
Research, exploration and creative projects with the aim of presenting a choreographic work.

When must the project be carried out?
The residency will take place from October 2025 to June 2027.

How many applications will be approved?
Only one application will be accepted.

2026-2028 Joint Support Residency PRIM + MAI

PRIM and MAI are joining forces to offer a joint residency and long-term support to an artist wishing to experiment, develop their skills, and create a new work in the field of media arts. PRIM provides the artist with its filming equipment and facilities for the creation of a work in video, documentary, fiction, and audio art. MAI is offering personalized support to the artist for the realization of the project.

What types of projects are eligible?
The selected project must be compatible with the mandates of both organizations: it must favor an intercultural approach in its creation while presenting a work that includes audio, video and digital processing.

When must the project be carried out?
The project will take place from Fall 2026 to June 2028.

How many applications will be approved?
Only one application will be accepted.
