It will be guided by an Advisory Committee of the project\u2019s partners, and will be facilitated and documented by Robin Sokoloski at Mass Culture and Mary Elizabeth Luka at <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.utsc.utoronto.ca\/home\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">University of Toronto Scarborough<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. When completed, this national research model, including five qualitative impact frameworks, will be shared publicly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Researchers in Residence: Arts\u2019 Civic Impact initiative is a collaboration between Mass Culture, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/canadacouncil.ca\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Canada Council for the Arts<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the Culture Statistics Working Group (Federal-Provincial-Territorial Culture and Heritage Table), the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.otf.ca\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ontario Trillium Foundation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/torontoartsfoundation.org\/home\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Toronto Arts Foundation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The initiative will engage researchers from each of the following institutions: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcgill.ca\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">McGill University<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecuad.ca\/on-campus\/agp\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Emily Carr University\u2019s Aboriginal Gathering Place<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwinnipeg.ca\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">University of Winnipeg<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dal.ca\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dalhousie University<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carleton University<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The researchers and their specific arts\u2019 civic impact area of focus are: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/massculture.ca\/research-in-residence-arts-civic-impact\/#sydney\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sydney Pickering<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Indigenous Cultural Knowledge; <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/massculture.ca\/research-in-residence-arts-civic-impact\/#emma\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Emma Bugg<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Climate and Sustainability; <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/massculture.ca\/research-in-residence-arts-civic-impact\/#aaron\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aaron Richmond<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Health and Wellbeing; <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/massculture.ca\/research-in-residence-arts-civic-impact\/#shanice\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shanice Bernicky<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Diversity and Inclusion; <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/massculture.ca\/research-in-residence-arts-civic-impact\/#audree\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Audree Espada<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/massculture.ca\/research-in-residence-arts-civic-impact\/#missy\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Missy LeBlanc<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Diversity and Inclusion.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><a class=\"theme_button\" href=\"https:\/\/massculture.ca\/research-in-residence-arts-civic-impact\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Research Report: Access in Counterpoint\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \u200b\u200bThe Researchers in Residence: Arts\u2019 Civic Impact initiative will implement on-the-ground research, identify indicators, and collect, analyze and interpret data.
