Plunging into the past to retrieve archives of popular culture, she uses science fiction to make projections about the future, examining the past from an African or African diasporic subjectivity.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Hamilton, Ontario, <strong>Kiwanga<\/strong> is now based in Paris.
