MAI (Montréal, arts interculturels) presents projects with pluridisciplinary, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches, reflecting diversity and interculturality, fundamental values of our mission. We favour projects from artists, collectives, and companies who are systematically excluded/invisibilized from the pluridisciplinary Canadian art milieu: Indigenous and Black artists, artists from different diasporas, as well as artists who are part of the disabled community (Deaf and hard of hearing artists, visually impaired and semi-vision-impaired artists, artists with reduced mobility, neurodiverse, etc.).
