MAI (Montréal, arts interculturels) recognizes the importance of protecting your personal information. Our commitment →
We have established internal procedures to ensure adequate protection of personal information in our possession, which are reviewed on a regular basis. We make our employees aware of the importance of protecting personal information and provide them with training in this regard.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that contractors, partners, representatives, co- presenters and other external entities working with MAI comply with this Policy. This includes, but is not limited to, programming companies and artists, tenants of our spaces, box office services, payment processors, data processing and storage companies, and so on.

For the purposes of this Policy, “personal information” means any information about an individual that directly or indirectly identifies the individual, such as a street address, e-mail address, telephone number and financial information. We collect, use and disclose your personal information as necessary to provide you with our Services, with your consent or as permitted or required by law. How we obtain your consent depends on the circumstances, as well as the sensitivity of the information collected. Subject to applicable law, your consent may be explicit or implied, depending on the circumstances and the sensitivity of the personal information in question. In the event of an information request or room reservation to rent a space: we collect your first name, last name, company name, website, job title, telephone and cell phone numbers, e-mail address and mailing address, as well as information about the event.

MAI operates a ticketing system for the shows it presents. When you reserve or purchase tickets by telephone, at the box office or through our website, or when you make a donation, some of your personal information is collected to facilitate the management of your ticket reservations, purchases or donations. When you make a donation via our ticketing platform, we collect the personal information required to prepare and send you, where applicable, tax statements and to communicate with you in this regard.
In any event, we do not share, sell or distribute your personal information with or to unrelated third parties, except in these limited circumstances. Personal information may occasionally be transferred to third parties who act for us for further processing in accordance with the purposes for which the information was originally collected or the purposes to which you have consented.
